Discover Your Passion & Purpose

Lucky You!

I have unlocked this resource from step 2 of the Mindset and Confidence Life Coaching Program.

In fact it’s also a bonus resource for the new ‘Be a Better Partner’ Program. Because being happy and fulfilled, is a key pillar of a stable relationship.

Find Your Passion & Purpose

Do you ever feel that there’s ‘something missing’ in your life. That it lacks zest, oomph, excitement, or purpose?

Perhaps you’ve just grown tired of the routine, the people, the location, the same old? You feel there must be more to life but you just cant put your finger on it?

You’ve had nice holidays and have bought nice things, but you now know those feelings
don’t last. Many people journey their way through life feeling desperate for a deeper sense of purpose and connection but aren’t sure how? It’s not easy and can feel like an endless search.

Perhaps a new approach is needed?

Instead of materialistic things, perhaps time and connection are as important? Perhaps instead of a passionless job, working in an industry that inspires that is in alignment with your values and what you care about is worth pursuing?

Perhaps it’s an intersection of many things, and what if it changes over time? A lot of us spend a lot of time reacting and responding to daily events and what’s right in front of us. But what would happen if you chose to pursue your desire to discover your true passion and purpose?

What would it mean to you?

What sacrifice would you be willing to make?

What ultimate need are you yearning to fulfil?

In this exercise I’ll present two ideas and strategies for you to explore.

The first is Ikigai. A Japanese term and diagram that is so simple yet so inspiring and powerful.

The second section is a set of 25 questions for you to explore and reflect on. The themes
you discover based on these questions will act as a wake up call to make the most of your life.

Combine the themes and discovery with your Life Values and play with possibilities in the Ikigai diagram.

Good luck!

Ikigai - A Reason for Being

Ikigai

The graphic really speaks for itself.

I suggest spending a good amount of time, looking at the various intersects, and acknowledging where you are at. In what ways you have changed and what factors influence your direction.

Do you know someone in the Ikigai zone? What could you learn from them?

What does your heart tell you about what possibilities could be on the horizon for you?

What does your gut tell you about what direction to take and what to do next?

25 Questions for Discovering Your Passion & Purpose

Let’s get some clarity about your direction toward a fulfilling life full of passion and purpose!

“The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honourable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”

Tip: Write quickly – acknowledge the first thing that pops into your mind, follow your heart and gut feelings more than your head, for now.

Try and complete each question in less than a minute to complete the whole thing at a high energy.
